Mitterer, Mitchko Tapped For Leadership Positions; Knauss Joins Team

FLORHAM PARK, NJ, July 3, 2007--Hamilton Park Hotel & Conference Center, a leading conference center in the northeast managed by Destination Hotels & Resorts (DH&R), has enhanced its food and beverage and conference services divisions by promoting several longtime employees and adding new personnel.

The New-Jersey-based property has promoted former catering director Michelle Mitterer to the position of director of food and beverage. In her new role, she will have oversight of all food and beverage and culinary operations.

Mitterer previously served for nine years as director of catering for Hamilton Park Hotel. During that time, she served as a critical link between the award-winning conference facility and surrounding communities. Mitterer also teaches at Fairleigh Dickinson University (International School of Hospitality and Tourism) and has been instrumental in recruiting and mentoring a number of past and current associates. Additionally, she has spearheaded the partnership between the University's Executive MBA Program and its Hotel School with Hamilton Park.

Kevin Knauss has been named director of outlets and will be responsible for overseeing the management of the Arrive and Vanderbilts Bar & Lounge. Knauss comes to Hamilton Park from the Sheraton Newark Airport Hotel where he was director of food and beverage for the 504-room airport hotel. Prior to that, he was food and beverage director for Primi Corporation in Bayonne, NJ and also served as director of food and beverage for the Harrison Conference Center & Hotel in Plainsboro, NJ.

Knauss brings full knowledge of Hamilton Park Hotel to his new position, having previously served there as food and beverage manager, banquet manager, dining room manager, and then director of food and beverage under its former management from 2001 to 2005. He also served as catering supervisor at Brown University in Providence, RI and sous chef at the Athenaeum Hotel in Chautauqua, NY. Knauss holds an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Service Management from Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI.

Set on 13 acres of rolling woodlands in New Jersey's historic Morristown area, just 20 minutes from Newark Airport, Hamilton Park Hotel & Conference Center presents a beautiful setting for corporate meetings, social occasions, weddings and leisure stays.
